FONDA, N.Y. — A first-time winner ruled the modified division Saturday night at Fonda Speedway.
Cody Clark led the final three laps to earn the $4,000 top prize in what was his first career modified triumph.
Clark won the 30-lap run ahead of Alex Yankowski, who led laps three through 27.
Demetrious Drellos, Matt DeLorenzo and Stewart Friesen rounded out the top five.
Butchie Irwin topped the 25-lap crate sportsman feature and Shane Playford bested the pro stock class.
Tim Wilmot won the limited sportsman feature.
