HOROLD, Ontario — Mike Bowman finally got the monkey off his back, taking his first victory of the season in the S&W Service Centre 358 Modifieds at Merrittville Speedway Saturday night. Starting 12th, Bowman challenged for the lead by halfway, using the top line to put his car out front.
Pete Bicknell finished second and Austin Wood was third.
Jacob Dykstra won the Action Sprint Tour feature over Brett Stratford.
Dustin Duga (V6), Kyle Rothwell (4 Cylinders), Chris Watson (mod lites) and Ryan Beagle (stock action) also visited victory lane.
