BARRE, Vt. — With a quickly turned around and rescheduled night of racing at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl following SRX’s cancellation, the Central Vermont community returned to the quarter-mile track on Thursday night.
Cooper Bouchard took the lead at the start of the 50-lap late model main event and kept his No. 7vt ahead of the field the full distance, despite several yellow flags and restarts.
Bouchard finished ahead of Darrell Morin, with Tyler Cahoon, Chris Pelkey and Kaiden Fisher rounding out the top five.
Jason Woodard commanded the 40-lap Flying Tiger feature, while Michael Gay topped the street stock main event. Tyler Wheatley won the Road Warrior headliner.
