HARTFORD, Ohio – Sharon Speedway officials canceled racing action scheduled for June 19 due to a high probability of thunderstorms from late afternoon throughout the evening.
It marked the third cancellation of the track’s 92nd anniversary season.
Coming up next Saturday, the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply 410 sprint cars will return for $3,000 to-win. Will there be a sixth different winner in six races this year?
Also on the Sharon card will be the Terry Bowser Excavating RUSH Sprint Cars, HTMA/Precise Racing Products RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, and Whelen Econo Mods.
Pits open at 4 p.m. with general admission tickets going on sale at 5 p.m. 410 sprint car group qualifying will get underway at 6:30 p.m. Race time is 7 p.m.
