OSBORN, Mo. – Jesse Sobbing raced from the eighth position to win Friday’s IMCA modified feature at U.S. 36 Raceway.
Sobbing held off 15th-starting Chad Andersen to take the checkered flag. Polesitter Kelsie Foley finished third, followed by Tony Layne and Michael Dotson.
Only nine of the 19 starts in the modified feature finished the 20-lap race.
Dotson, Brandon Conkwright, Sobbing and Steven Bowers Jr. won the four heat races. Layne and Scott Smith won the pair of B Mains.
Tyler Drueke started second and won the IMCA sprint car feature. J.J. Baumli topped the 15-lap IMCA stock car feature. Tim Stallbaumer raced from third to win the IMCA sport mod feature. Jason Ryun won the Pure Stock feature and Keith Simmons came from 10th to win the E-Modified feature.
