LOVES PARK, Ill. — With temperatures hovering just above freezing and with the continual threat of snow showers into the afternoon and early evening on Saturday, Rockford Speedway officials have postponed the 46th Annual Spring Classic until Sunday.
A full program is set for Sunday, including the Big 8 Late Model Series, Mid Am Racing Series and the Bandit Blast.
This will be the last season of racing at Rockford Speedway, after it was announced in February that the 50-acre property was bought by HJS Development for commercial development.
