ALLENTOWN, Ohio — Perfect weather greeted teams and fans on Friday night for the final points event of the season at Limaland Motorsports Park.
Shane O’Connor topped the DIRTcar modified feature, while Todd Sherman clinched the track championship.
Brandon Vaughan and Shane O’Connor would make up the front row for the modified 20-lap event with O’Connor taking the early lead. Vaughan would stalk O’Connor throughout the race, trying to grab his second victory in a row, but mechanical issues would arise on Vaughan’s No 36 on the final lap, relegating him to a 15th-place finish.
O’Connor would grab the victory over Jeff Koz, Sherman, Jerry Bowersock and Percy Gendreau. Sherman’s third-place finish sealed his ninth track championship.
Jarrod Klay grabbed his first Lock Sixteen Thunderstock feature win and Ricky Lewis bagged the Non-Wing Sprint Car feature.
Gabe Mueller sealed up the Thunderstock championship.
