KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Steve Needles took the pandemic-postponed Kalamazoo Klash XXVIII for outlaw late models on Friday night at Kalamazoo Speedway, denying Tyler Roahrig a fourth straight win in the event.
Needles bested Roahrig by .453 seconds, leading the final 28 laps for the victory after passing Doug True for the top spot.
Phil Bozell crossed third, followed by True and Brian Bergakker. Andy Bozell and Monte Tolan were sixth and seventh, respectively.
The Raber’s Street Stock Rumble accompanied the 28th edition of the Kalamazoo Klash, with Bubba Brooks taking home that $2,500 payday.
Shawn Amor finished second to Brooks, ahead of Matt Weenink, Brandon Zachary and Bob Miller.
