Long Is $1,000 Keysor Memorial Winner At Limaland

LIMA, Ohio – Justin Long captured the $1,000-to-win, 19th annual Keysor Memorial for Bud Thunderstocks to lead the list of winners at Limaland Motorsports Park on Friday night.

The 18-lap Keysor Memorial feature, honoring the memory of Keysor family members that have passed on, went green with Rob Trent and Justin Long on the front row, where Long used the bottom lane to grab the early race lead.

The caution flag waved on lap three for Brandon McDaries spinning in turn four, and at that point, Tony Anderson had already made his way from sixth starting spot up to third. One lap after the restart, Anderson slipped by the No. 7C of Jordan Conover to grab the second spot.

A caution would wave again for McDaries on lap five, spinning a second time and ending his night. On lap 12, Anderson got by Long for the lead, but Long muscled back past in turns three and four with some contact as both drivers continued on.

Long then survived three more cautions and restarts to pickup his first Keysor Memorial victory, while Anderson was second in the end.

Jeffrey Jessup crossed third, followed by Conover in fourth and Craig Dippman completing the top five.

Other feature winners at Limaland Friday night included Todd Sherman bagging his 51st career Northwest Physical Therapy UMP Modified win, Rolly Heyder winning the Dirt Track Truck Series feature, and Kyle Simon scoring the non-winged sprint car victory.
