Another Double X Triumph For Tyler Blank

CALIFORNIA, Mo. – Tyler Blank registered another 360 winged sprint car victory on Sunday evening at Double X Speedway.

When the green flag waved Corey Nelson took command and had opened up a five car length advantage over the field. A caution flag on lap four proved his undoing though as Blank found a ton of traction on the top groove off of turn two and would take the lead.

Nelson would pressure Blank for the next handful of laps before Blank began to open up the winning advantage. During this same time Broc Elliott moved to the top shelf and after restarting fifth was challenging Nelson for the number two spot. As the laps clicked by Nelson was able to open up a slight advantage over Elliott.

Following Blank across the finish line were Nelson in second, Broc Elliott in third, Jack Wagner in fourth and Kory Bales completing the top five. Heat races were won by Nelson and Samuel Wagner.

The 305 winged sprint car class was also on hand for its second race of the year at Double X, with Jack Potter besting Kenny Potter at the checkered flag. Joe Miller was the winner in the super stock class.
