RICE LAKE, Wis. — Shane Halopka edged Denny Cutsforth by a half a car length to win the final modified feature of the year at Rice Lake Speedway on Saturday.
Halopka scored his second win of the year at the track as he and Cutsforth exchanged the lead numerous times over the 20-lap feature. Â
Kevin Adams, Sam Fankhauser and Jake Hiatt rounded out the top five.
In the super stock feature, Jesse Redetzke won his first Rice Lake feature since 2008 when he prevailed from the third-starting position. Redetzke became the seventh different winner in the class this year. Dan Nissalke finished second while Fankhauser placed third.
Jay Richardson polished off a wire-to-wire win in the midwest modified feature. Simon Wahlstrom and J.D. Ford joined Richardson on the podium.
Mike Schnider led all 12 laps to win the pure stock main event over Randy Graham and Mitchell Kesan.
