DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Triple Truck Challenge will return to the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series after a successful debut season in 2019.
The 2020 edition of the program will begin when the series makes its debut on the Daytona Int’l Speedway road course on Aug. 16. Events at Dover Int’l Speedway on Aug. 21 and World Wide Technology Raceway on Aug. 30 will also be a part of the Triple Truck Challenge.
The three-race series was originally scheduled to happen in April and May at Richmond Raceway, Dover and Charlotte Motor Speedway, but those plans were put on hold due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Any driver who wins one of the events will earn a $50,000 bonus. Should one driver win two of the races, they’ll earn an extra $50,000 for a total of $150,000. If one driver wins all three races, they’ll earn an extra $300,000 bonus for a total of $500,000.
The Triple Truck Challenge races in 2019 were won by Greg Biffle, Brett Moffitt and Ross Chastain.
