Clyde Hart Memorial Notes

The first race of ASA STARS National Tour season gets underway this week, as some of the top drivers in asphalt late model racing take on the Clyde Hart Memorial at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway on Feb. 13.

45 drivers have filed entries for the event looking to qualify or race their way into the 28-car starting field Tuesday night. One of those 45 drivers is the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott.

He will look to find success that his Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron had found in the Clyde Hart Memorial when Byron scored the victory last season.
