Track Enterprises Confirms Milwaukee Mile Event

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – After a successful return of racing at the famed Milwaukee Mile this year, officials from the Wisconsin State Fair Park and Track Enterprises have confirmed stock car racing will be back at the track on June 14.

Last year, four divisions of racing competed at the Milwaukee Mile. More than 100 drivers were on track for the, race with Austin Nason besting a field of nearly 40 super late models in the headline event.

“It was a huge win for us last year, being the first race there in many years.  Really looking forward to going back, as it’s a really fast track and close to home,” stated Nason.

The ARCA Midwest Tour will again headline the show with a 100-lap event.  Joining them will be the Midwest Trucks, Mid-American Stock Cars and the Upper Midwest Vintage Series.

A practice day is planned for June 13 with final practice, qualifying, preliminary events and feature racing getting underway at 1 p.m. on June 14, with the main events to follow.  There will also be a street drag event on Saturday night, once open practice comes to an end.

Track Enterprises produces more than 80 events annually throughout America’s Heartland.  Former Auto Racing Promoter of the Year, Bob Sargent, and Track Enterprises are proud to bring racing back to The Milwaukee Mile for the second year in-a-row.

“The turnout for last year’s event was better than expected, even with the less than favorable weather that we had.  We are really looking forward to making this year’s event even better after having last year under our belt,” said Sargent.

The Milwaukee Mile is the oldest operating motor speedway in the world, opening in 1903.
