SRL Supers Target Mobile

IRVINGTON, Ala. — The top super late model drivers in the country will make the trek to Mobile Int’l Speedway for Saturday night’s SRL National Super Late Model Tour event at the half-mile asphalt oval.

The Davidson Electric 125 carries a purse of $57,250 and will pay $15,000 to the winner of the 125-lap event. Twenty-two drivers have pre-entered the race that pays $1,000 to start the feature.

Much of the attention will be focused on super late model superstars Casey Roderick and Bubba Pollard. The pair tangled late in the running of the ASA STARS National Tour event at Florida’s Five Flags Speedway, with Roderick winning and Pollard relegated to a 19th-place finish.

Roderick and Pollard each have multiple super late model victories already this season.

Among the other entries are Michael Atwell, Jake Finch, Jett Noland, Hunter Robbins and Trent Williams.

Friday will be a practice day with practice and qualifying held on Saturday afternoon. The pure stocks and sportsmen will also be on the card. SPEED SPORT affiliate PitRow.TV will cover all the action.
