SALEM, Ind. — Gio Ruggiero was back in victory lane Saturday night at Salem Speedway.
The 16-year-old stock car driver won the Midwest 100 for the ASA CRA Super Series at the historic half-mile oval.
Ruggiero took the lead from Jordon Riddick on lap 51 and led the remainder of the 100-lap event.
Riddick finished second, with Dalton Armstrong, Chase Burda and Dakota Stroup rounding out the top five.
Corey Deuser topped the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Midwest 100 main event.
