Roderick Is Quickest In ASA LM Drills

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Thirty-four cars hit the track during Friday’s practice for the inaugural ASA STARS National Tour super late model event that will be run Saturday at Five Flags Speedway.

Matt Craig topped the first practice, with Casey Roderick turning the quickest lap of the night during the final session. Roderick lapped the half-mile track at 16.625 seconds.

Bubba Pollard was second quickest, with Preston Peltier, Derek Thorn and Timothy Watson rounding out the top five.

Saturday’s Sunshine 200 is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. green flag and can be seen on SPEED SPORT affiliate MidwestTour.tv.
