KAUKAUNA, Wis. – Former Wisconsin International Raceway and NASCAR Cup champion Matt Kenseth has filed his entry for next Tuesday night’s, August 2, $15,000-to-win Gandrud Auto Group 250 at WIR.
This marks Kenseth’s first visit to the Fox Valley half-mile paved oval in 15 years.
Kenseth will pilot the Shafer Motorsports entry against the ‘Stars and Cars’ of the ARCA Midwest Tour, the same car that claimed the checkered flag in last year’s event.
The two-time Daytona 500 winner previously competed in the final three Superstar Racing Experience races, along with the 43rd annual Slinger Nationals, where he finished fifth.
