Booth Bros., HP Hood Continue Milk Bowl Deal Through 2024

Barre, VT — Thunder Road officials are proud to announce that the 60th Northfield Savings Bank Vermont Milk Bowl will not be without the calcium-rich namesake that has kept this iconic event nationally recognized. Booth Bros. and HP Hood have signed on to continue their partnership with Thunder Road and the Vermont Milk Bowl through 2024.

Norman and Marcel Booth began Booth Bros. Dairy in Barre, Vermont way back in 1946. The original Dairy grew throughout the decades, always providing the freshest and finest dairy milk in the state of Vermont. All milk, that continues to be processed at the Booth Bros. plant on Allen Street in Barre, is sourced from Vermont farms in Washington, Lamoille and Orange counties, every drop free from artificial growth hormones.

Booth Bros./HP Hood will continue to sponsor Milk Bowl Qualifying Saturday events, which include qualifying and Mini-Milk Bowl action for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers and rk Miles Street Stocks plus the White Mountain Motorsports Park Woodsville Guarantee Savings Bank Strictly Minis and Dad’s 4 By Kids Division. The Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models will also attempt to nab the quick lap in time trials and bring home the Booth Bros./HP Hood Pole Award. $1,000 will go to whoever sets the fastest pace with $500 for second quickest.

“Where would the Milk Bowl be without the beverage that started it all?” Thunder Road managing partner Cris Michaud said. “Booth Bros. and HP Hood have supported Thunder Road and our local Vermont dairy farmers for decades and it those contributions that have helped build our 60 year tradition of the famed Vermont Milk Bowl.”

This year, the Milk Bowl will also serve as an ACT Late Model Tour ‘100%er’ event meaning all Tour championship contenders must attempt to qualify for the Milk Bowl to keep their 100% status and claim year ending point-fund and contingency awards.
