WEST ALLIS, Wis. – It was a last minute decision, but two-time Snowball Derby champion Augie Grill has entered this Sunday’s Father’s Day 100 at The Milwaukee Mile.
Grill will haul his iconic No. 112 RNMinstall.com, Grand American Racecars Chevrolet to The Milwaukee Mile from Alabama in search of his first ARCA Midwest Tour victory in his first Tour attempt.
In addition to his Snowball Derby success at Five Flags Speedway, Grill is also a two-time winner of the Snowflake 100 at the Pensacola, Fla., speedplant. He has won on some of the biggest stages including twice at the Rattler, the Glass City 200 in Toledo, Ohio, New Smyrna’s Florida Governor’s Cup and is a five-time Alabama 200 victor.
Grill is the 39th entry for Sunday’s 100-mile contest at the 118-year-old facility.
Joining the ARCA Midwest Tour will be the Midwest Truck Series, Mid-American Stock Car Series and Upper Midwest Vintage Series.
Grandstands and ticket offices will open at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 20. Practice will begin at 9:30 a.m., qualifying is slated for 11 a.m., racing will begin at 1 p.m.
