Thunder Road Locked Into SRX Schedule

BARRE, Vt. — After this year’s race date getting washed out due to devastating flooding in the Central Vermont area, the Superstar Racing Experience is set to compete at Thunder Road Speedbowl next year. The event is slated for July 18.

“Our offices in Barre have been back online and it’s been a welcome sight to see so much of our downtown bounce-back from the flooding, as well as the rebuilding that continues in our surrounding communities,” said Thunder Road managing partner Cris Michaud.

“To have SRX come back to close this chapter in a positive way while showcasing Thunder Road, the State of Vermont and the strength of Vermonters to the world, it’s pretty exciting.”

It’s the third confirmed date on the SRX calendar for next season, with Stafford (Conn.) Motor Speedway named as the season opener on July 11.

Michigan’s Berlin Raceway also returns to the six-race tour for the second consecutive season.
