Roahrig Intimidates The Field During Kalamazoo Opener

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Tyler Roahrig raced to his record third Intimidator 100 victory on Friday night as part of Kalamazoo Speedway’s season-opening program.

Roahrig, who previously won the marquee outlaw late model race in back-to-back years in 2016 and ’17, took the lead with 13 laps to go en route to the historic win.

The Indiana veteran now has three Intimidator 100 triumphs to match his three Kalamazoo Klash wins at the famed three-eighths-mile paved oval.

Adam Terry came home second, followed by Phil Bozell, Todd Harrington and Steve Needles.

Other winners on the night included Chris Shannon (template late models), Shawn Amore (street stocks), Pete Doxey (outlaw FWD) and Jorden Brinkert (zoo stocks).
