Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Gives Voting Power To Fans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Before the Superstar Racing Experience race at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on July 9, fans will get a chance to vote one of their favorite late model drivers into the seat of an SRX machine to compete against some of the best in motorsports.

This special promotion is delivered to grassroots race fans by Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, SRX and Track Enterprises.

Fans will get the chance to choose one of six talented late model drivers to enter the SRX event. All six drivers have a history at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and are some of the best that the sport has to offer.

Voting will start on April 3 and will run until May 6. The winner will be announced live at the ARCA Menards East race at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on May 7. Fans will be limited to casting one vote per person.

Many of the potential SRX drivers are past champions and one has already earned herself a place in the record books at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Brittney Zamora — a 22-year-old native of Kennewick, Washington — made history in 2021 by becoming the first female to win a premier race at the historic speedway.

Two past champions and one defending champion will join Zamora on the fan vote list. Cole Williams and Dylan Fetcho have already hoisted the coveted guitar at Nashville and always give the fans a great show, but defending champion of the pro late model division Michael House is one of the best Nashville has to offer. The final two on the list will be names fans view as synonymous with late model racing, including former All American 400 winner Bubba Pollard and two-time Super Series champion Steven Nasse.
