SALEM, Ind. — The CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS will be back in action this Saturday at Anderson Speedway for the fourth and final series event at the track this season.
Saturday’s event will be the ninth event of the season for the Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stocks and the second Chase for the Championship event. Shawn Amor picked up the win in the special non-points event with SpeedFest at Watermelon Capital Speedway in January.
Jason Atkinson won the series points opener at Shadybowl Speedway in early April while Josh Poore won the series event at Anderson Speedway later that month. Andrew Teepe picked up the next win on June 12 at Mt. Lawn Speedway. Barnes Jr. got the win at Anderson Speedway on June 25 in the Four Crown opener.
Terry Fisher Jr. got the win on July 30 at IRP, the second Four Crown event. Brett Hudson got the win in the Four Crown Championship event on August 13 at Anderson Speedway and also picked up the Four Crown Championship.
Teepe became the first repeat winner this year when he grabbed the win at Winchester Speedway in the last series event on Labor Day Weekend. However, series rookie Dalton Conner comes into Saturday’s event as the series season points leader.
Conner is locked into the Chase for the Championship final four as the series regular season champion, as long as he continues to race in each remaining championship event. Teepe is also locked in.
Atkinson, rookie Blaine Akin, Dawson Phillips and Kimmie Grieg will fight for the final two spots in the championship showdown.
