Baldwin To Compete In SMART Modifieds & CARS Tour

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Luke Baldwin will compete in Tour-Type Modified events for Tommy Baldwin Racing and Sadler-Stanley Racing during the upcoming race season.

Baldwin will step up to Tour-Type Modifieds driving for SS Racing in the entire SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic schedule in the No. 7VA. He will also compete in a part-time CARS Pro Late Model Tour schedule for Tommy Baldwin Racing and additional select 602 Modified events.

His season schedule will begin at Caraway Speedway in 602 Modified racing on Jan. 27, followed by back-to-back days of racing at Auburndale Speedway in the 602 Modifieds on Feb. 8-9.

He will then roll to New Smyrna Speedway’s World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing in February with four 602 Modifieds events, where he will defend his World Series title.

For SS Racing, Baldwin will drive a PSR Chassis.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity that Sadler-Stanley Racing has provided to get into some top-notch equipment in my jump to Tour-Type Modifieds,” Baldwin said. “I’m excited to get to the first race at Florence and continue to build on experience every time we go to the race track together.

“Our goals will be to race for the Racing Electronics Rookie of the Year and go out there and try to win my first race…the team is definitely capable of doing that. The potential is endless in this deal.”

“The opportunity to run CARS Tour pro late model events for TBR is also special because we will do it as a family,” Baldwin continued. “We gained some crucial experience last year with Walker Motorsports and will continue to build on everything we’ve learned and go out there and race against some great competition in select races.”

Baldwin’s CARS Tour pro late model events will be at North Carolina’s Orange County Speedway on April 20, North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway on May 14, Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway on July 27 and North Carolina’s Ace Speedway on Aug. 9.

Tommy Baldwin Racing’s full 2024 driver lineup and schedule will be announced soon.

“We’re excited to see Luke make the move up,” Tommy Baldwin Jr. said. “We have a great lineup of drivers and events planned for what will be another busy year for Tommy Baldwin Racing in 2024. We’re excited for fans to see our full schedule soon.”
