Racing Optics To Sponsor 34th Annual Brad Doty Classic

ATTICA, Ohio — The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will invade Attica Raceway Park for the 34th Annual Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic on Tuesday, July 12.

For the 13th year in a row, Racing Optics has stepped up to be the presenting sponsor of the race.

“We have been very fortunate to have Bart Wilson and his family choosing to be a part of our event for 15 years now! They are a racing family who realized the need for a better tear off for dirt racers.  Racing Optics laminated tear offs are by far the best quality and have the best visibility of any tear off on the market, and they are not only used just for dirt racing, but many other applications as well,” said Brad Doty, co-promoter of the event.

“But for dirt racing, when track conditions are extreme and the mud and dirt is completely covering your face shield several times every a lap, you can stack 30 to 40 Racing Optics tear offs on your helmet and still see through them as if you are using three or four of a competitor’s brand,” Doty added.

Racing Optics was founded in 1999 by Bart, Steve and Seth Wilson. Racing Optics and the Wilson family have deep roots in the racing industry that date back to the 1940s.

The company is the proprietor and only manufacturer of laminated tearoffs, which have become a staple to racers in every category of motorsports — including NASCAR, Formula1, dirt track racing and motocross.

This year will mark the 17th time the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series has sanctioned the Brad Doty Classic.

The winner will take home $15,000, which is a $5,000 increase from the purse in 2021. Last year’s victor was Spencer Bayston from Lebanon, Indiana, who became one of the 25 different winners in the 31 contested Brad Doty Classic features.

It was also Bayston’s first World of Outlaws victory.
