WEST FARGO, N.D. — A heavy downpour this morning and a forecast for continued rain throughout the afternoon and evening has led to the cancellation of Saturday’s World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event at Red River Valley Speedway.
The event will not be re-scheduled, and those who bought tickets in advance will receive a full refund at the point of purchase.
Donny Schatz will lead the World of Outlaws back into action at Black Hills Speedway on Aug. 23, after taking the series point lead with his Friday night win in North Dakota.
