Medical Clearance Allows Zearfoss To Return To Racing

JONESTOWN, Pa. – Effective immediately, Brock Zearfoss has been medically cleared to resume racing and will return to World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series competition June 11-12 during the Brownells Big Guns Bash at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway.

Despite his near-two week medical leave due to lingering concussion symptoms, Zearfoss will return to competition with a boost of momentum on his side, as his most recent outing with the World of Outlaws resulted in back-to-back top-10 finishes at Attica Raceway Park and Sharon Speedway, respectively.

“I can’t thank Dr. Collins and his entire medical team enough for getting me healthy again. I’m ready to get back to work,” Zearfoss said. “The last thing I wanted to hear from a doctor was ‘you can’t race,’ but I’m glad I got checked out and I feel better than ever. I was fortunate enough to have an incredible medical team on my side and now I can return to the seat more confident than ever. I’m ready to get to Knoxville.”

The Brownells Big Guns Bash will award winner’s shares of $6,000 on Friday and $10,000 on Saturday.
