Carson Macedo has been released from the hospital following an accident during the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series feature at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday night.
Jason Johnson Racing posted an update on social media on Sunday morning.

During the 25-lap feature, Macedo went head-on into the wall in turns three and four, sending the No. 41 end-over-end before coming to a rest.Â
The red flag was displayed, then Macedo climbed from his car and walked with assistance to the ambulance, where he was transported to a local hospital.Â
