MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Kasey Kahne Racing and sponsor NAPA Auto Parts have reached a multi-year contract extension. Brad Sweet will continue to pilot the team’s No. 49 machine as he has been the primary driver since 2017 when the partnership began.
“We have had a blast teaming up with NAPA on the 49 and are thrilled to have the opportunity to keep winning with them,” said Kasey Kahne, president of Kasey Kahne Racing. “NAPA is a great partner, and it’s so fun to see how many store owners and employees join us at the track throughout the year.”Â
The partial partnership began in 2017 when Sweet claimed second in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series point standings. Concluding the 2017 season, NAPA elevated their role to become the primary sponsor of the No. 49.
Sweet and the NAPA No. 49 head into 2023 looking for a fifth consecutive title.
