Ashton Torgerson To Make 410 Debut With Outlaws

Spending much of his season focusing on running winged sprint cars, Ashton Torgerson looks to build off of a successful rookie campaign and this week’s Gold Cup Race of Champions at California’s Silver Dollar Speedway as he will make his 410ci debut and battle the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series aboard an entry fielded by Clayton Snow.

“It has been a great year in the 360ci,” Ashton Torgerson said. “I am fortunate that we have won a couple of races and been competitive, and it has me eager and excited to take the next step.”

Coming off of a strong showing during Northwest Speedweek that saw Torgerson pick up his second feature event win of the season at Southern Oregon Speedway, Torgerson is set for his biggest test yet as he goes to battle against the World of Outlaws.

The pairing with Snow is a familiar one for Torgerson as he and Clayton Snow worked together when Torgerson first got into racing on the dirt.

While Torgerson is excited for the opportunity to compete at the highest level this week, Snow is eager to team up with the young talent.

“I am really excited to see what Ashton Torgerson can do behind the wheel of a winged 410ci Sprint Car,” Clayton Snow said. “He is a raw talent, and I have been fortunate to know him for over a decade and be around much of his racing adventures. It should be a fun week with the World of Outlaws.”

Before Torgerson gets in the Snow Racing entry, he will be in action with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour on Wednesday night to officially kick off the 69th running of the Gold Cup Race of Champions.
