Wet Madison Forecast Forces Silver Crown Cancellation

OREGON, Wis. – The USAC Silver Crown Series Bytec Dairyland 100, scheduled for June 25 at Madison Int’l Speedway, has been rained out.

A suitable rain date is unavailable, leading to the cancellation of the event for this season.

After track officials consulted with multiple meteorologists, heavy rains are predicted to move into the area by Friday evening, not allowing a full show to be completed.

The USAC Silver Crown season will resume Saturday night, June 26, at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

The fireworks portion of the Madison event will be moved to Friday night, Aug. 27 during the ARCA Midwest Tour Howie Lettow Classic.

Those that purchased advanced tickets can request a refund by emailing [email protected]. Those tickets can also be used for the Aug. 27 event.

Madison Int’l Speedway’s next events will take place on July 8 with Street Drags and July 9 with Bobcat of Janesville Kids Night, featuring the One Community Bank $1,000 Coin Scramble.
