Seavey Leads The Way In Arizona Sprint Practice

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. – Logan Seavey stood atop the speed charts in Thursday’s AMSOIL USAC CRA & Southwest Sprint Car practice session at Arizona Speedway in preparation for this weekend’s 53rd annual Western World Championships presented by San Tan Ford on Friday and Saturday night.

Seavey clocked in with a lap of 15.266 seconds at the third-mile dirt oval in San Tan Valley, Ariz. in his Reinbold-Underwood Motorsports/AME Electrical – Mesilla Valley Trans./Spike/Fisher Chevy.

The 2018 USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget champion was part of a Reinbold-Underwood sweep of practice night with Spencer Bayston earning the top practice speed for the Arizona-based team during midget practice.

A winner in USAC Southwest Sprint Car competition during May of 2019, Seavey topped all drivers in the session while Austin Williams, Damion Gardner, Justin Grant and Cody Williams rounded out the top-five.

Two-time and defending Western World Sprint Car champion Tyler Courtney and his car were in attendance, but did not participate in Thursday night’s practice.
