Seavey Does It Again At 4-Crown

ROSSBURG, Ohio — Logan Seavey claimed the USAC Silver Crown portion of the 4-Crown Nationals for the second consecutive year at Eldora Speedway.

Seavey started third and took the lead from polesitter C.J. Leary on the ninth lap of the historic half-mile dirt track.

Seavey held off Leary the remainder of the 50 laps to bank the $10,000 top prize.

Equally as important, Seavey’s third Silver Crown triumph of the season moved him into a tie atop the series standings with Kody Swanson as both drivers have 540 points.

While Leary finished second, Justin Grant, who won the sprint car portion of the 4-Crown Nationals, came home third.

Matt Westfall and Shane Cottle completed the top five.
