PERRIS, Calif. — Matt Mitchell led all 30 laps to win Saturday night’s Sokola Shootout for the AMSOIL USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series at Perris Auto Speedway.
Driving the familiar No. 37 sprint car, Mitchell started from the front row and controlled the event on the half-mile dirt track.
Charles Davis Jr. charged from seventh on the grid to finish third, while point leader Damion Gardner was fourth.
Austin Williams and Cody Williams completed the top five.
A.J. Bender was the fast qualifier for the 24-car field with a lap of 16.601 seconds.
