MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. — Ricky Lewis grabbed his first AMSOIL USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series triumph Saturday night at Mohave Valley Raceway.
Lewis took the lead from NASCAR racer J.J. Yeley, who started on the pole, on lap eight and paced the remainder of the 30-lap event.
Tommy Malcolm charged through the field from 16th starting spot to finish second, while Brody Fuson, Braden Chiaramonte and R.J. Johnson completed the top five.
Johnson was the fast qualifier for the 27-car field.
