Larson Among Latest BC39 Entries

INDIANAPOLIS – NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Larson is among the latest batch of entrants for the Aug. 18-19 USAC Driven2SaveLives BC39 Powered By NOS Energy Drink as the entry list has exploded to a staggering 77 entries for the midget racing event at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. 

Larson, a 23-time USAC National Midget feature winner, will be behind the wheel of the CB Industries No. 86, the team with which he dominated with en route to the 2020 Indiana Midget Week title.

As one of four entrants out of the CB Industries stable, Larson will be joined by past USAC National Midget champions Chris Windom and Spencer Bayston as well as race rookie Ryan Timms. Larson finished ninth in his lone BC39 feature start in 2019, but won the preceding night’s Stoops Pursuit in one of the most dramatic endings in motorsports history.

Also among the new entrants is J.J. Yeley, who is one of the most decorated drivers in USAC history. He captured five National championships with the club, including becoming the second driver to win all three USAC National titles in the same season in 2003. Tony Stewart also accomplished the feet in 1995. Yeley is also the only driver to compete in the BC39, Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 in his career.

McIntosh is one of the top young guns on the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget trail, having won three times in his career. He made his BC39 debut in 2019, garnering the last transfer spot in the semi-feature and finishing 18th in the feature after flipping with nine laps remaining.

Other drivers who have pre-entered to compete in the BC39 include 2019 winner Zeb Wise, Buddy Kofoid, Tanner Thorson, Hayden Williams, NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott, inaugural BC39 winner Brady Bacon, Kevin Thomas Jr., IndyCar Series competitor Conor Daly, Chris Windom, Logan Seavey, Spencer Bayston, NASCAR Cup Series rookie Chase Briscoe, Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 winner Ryan Newman, Justin Grant and Kings Royal winner Tyler Courtney.

The deadline for teams to file their entry for the event at www.thebc39.com has been extended until Thursday, Aug. 12, at Midnight. Individuals may also purchase tickets, pit and parking passes for the two-night USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship event at the same link.
