MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. — Kevin Thomas Jr. came on strong in the closing laps and won Saturday night’s USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series feature at Mohave Valley Speedway.
Thomas started fourth and led laps 14 through 26 before losing the point to Cody Williams on lap 27. But Thomas battled back and regained the lead on lap 28 and led the final three circuits for the victory.
Williams finished second, with Tommy Malcolm, David Gasper, who started 10th, and Logan Calderwood completing the top five.
