Ferns Lands Support From Bradford Allen

CHICAGO, Ill. — Taylor Ferns Racing has partnered with Chicago-based commercial real estate firm Bradford Allen (BA), who will be driver Taylor Ferns’ primary sponsor as she contends for both the USAC Silver Crown and 500 Sprint Car Tour titles.

Chasing championships is nothing new to Ferns, who won the 2011 USAC D1 Midget Series and became only the second female to win a USAC title. In fact, Ferns’ historic motorsports journey is what impresses Bradford Allen principal Jeffrey Bernstein the most.

“Taylor is an accomplished racer with immense potential. She has the dedication, instincts, and guts to reach the pinnacle of this sport. Perhaps more importantly, she’s a role model with great character — qualities we value deeply at Bradford Allen. The opportunity to support her on this journey is one we couldn’t be more excited about,” Bernstein said.

With multiple midget and sprint car victories, Ferns has proved she’s a force to be reckoned with. Ferns’ passion for motorsports has driven her to become the first and only female to reach the USAC Silver Crown podium. Off track, Ferns brings the same intensity to her pursuit of a law degree.

“I am beyond grateful to Jeff, Larry and the entire Bradford Allen team for coming on board and supporting our efforts to win races and contend for championships this year,” Ferns said. “It takes many dedicated supporters and partners to run competitive race teams. I would not be able to do this without Bradford Allen, my crew chief — Kevin Besecker — and my family.

“I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason, and the way this partnership came together is evidence of that. I am excited to start this journey and look forward to working with Bradford Allen for years to come.”

After taking a hiatus from motorsports to focus on academic pursuits from 2015 to ’19 and only participating in select races over the past few years, the upcoming season will be a “Comeback Tour” for Ferns.

Her calendar will consist of more than 20 races.
