PETALUMA, Calif. – Chase Johnson took the lead from Danny Faria Jr. on the 28th lap and claimed Monday’s California Sprint Week feature at Petaluma Speedway.
Racing the Thomas Family No. 68, Johnson earned his second AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series triumph from the seventh starting position over Colby Johnson, Austin Williams, Shawn Arriaga and Brody Roa.
Johnson also posted his second Woodland Auto Display Fast Time Award with a time of 14.471 seconds over the 19-car field.
Heats were won by Mike Martin, Roa and Norm Johns.
