Bryson Set For Silver Crown Debut

INDIANAPOLIS — Up-and-coming open-wheel racer Kaylee Bryson is scheduled to make her USAC Silver Crown Series debut June 18 at Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway.

Bryson will drive the No. 26 Sam Pierce Racing in association with AP Driver Development entry at the state-of-the-art half-mile dirt track.

Bryson, 21, races full-time in USAC and POWRi midget competition for Keith Kunz Motorsports and gained international fame when she became the first woman to qualify for the Chili Bowl Nationals main event in January.

Bryson won a micro sprint feature at her home track, Oklahoma’s Port City Raceway in April and earned her second USAC national midget podium finish the same night.

Indianapolis-based Sam Pierce Racing has fielded event and championship winning race cars over four decades in numerous forms of racing.

The AP Driver Development organization is spearheaded by SPR primary driver Aaron Pierce.
