ARP Continues Support Of Turkey Night Grand Prix

VENTURA, Calif. – ARP, the worldwide leader in fastener technology, will continue as the sponsor of the ARP Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Raceway on Nov. 27.

This will mark the 80th running of the storied event, which can trace its history back to the origins of midget racing. The ARP Turkey Night Grand Prix will serve as the season finale for the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship.

The winner of the race will receive $10,000 from ARP, as well as a specially-designed trophy to commemorate the legendary 98-lap event.

“ARP is proud to be a part of this historic race that dates back to 1934 and has produced so many great winners,” said Chris Raschke, Director of Sales & Marketing for ARP.

Past winners include some of the biggest names in motorsports, including Indianapolis 500 winners Bill Vukovich, Johnnie Parsons, A.J. Foyt, and Parnelli Jones, plus stars like Tony and Gary Bettenhausen, Mel Kenyon, Bubby Jones and eight-time Turkey Night winner Ron Shuman. Other winners include Tony Stewart, as well as current NASCAR standouts Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell.

The race weekend features practice and sprint car prelims on Friday, Nov. 26 and the ARP Turkey Night Grand Prix follows on Saturday, Nov. 27.
