15 Events, 11 Tracks For USAC Midwest Wingless Sprints

SPEEDWAY, Ind. – Scheduled for 15 events at 11 different venues, the USAC Wholesale Batteries Midwest Wingless Racing Ass’n Sprint Car tentative schedule has been set, with the possibility of a handful of more dates to be added later.

The series’ third season will feature events at dirt tracks throughout Missouri and Kansas, with the opener slated for U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., on April 23.  Missouri’s Nevada Speedway welcomes the series back on May 7.

Three consecutive nights of co-sanctioned events alongside the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship are on tap for May 12 at Lakeside in Kansas City, Kan., on May 13 at U.S. 36 and on May 14 at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Mo.

It’s back to U.S. 36 on June 3 for a Show Me State double race weekend with Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo. set for the following night, June 4.  The month of June closes out with a date at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan. on June 25.

July is the time for new venues for the series with Butler, Missouri’s Electric City Speedway hosting MWRA on July 13 and Kansas’ Humboldt Speedway welcoming the series on July 15.  A return visit to the I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo. awaits on July 23.

Aug. 5 takes the series back to Lakeside while Aug. 27 brings Salina Speedway in Salina, Kan. to the forefront.  The title stretch of September possesses two final events in Missouri, on Sept. 4 at Bethany Speedway and the season finale Helm Memorial on Sept. 24 at Valley Speedway.

Two yet-to-be-announced dates are locked in for May 28-29 at a yet-to-be-determined venue.
