It’s All Torgerson With POWRi Micro Sprint League

BROWNSTOWN, Ill. – Ashton Torgerson earned his first trip to victory lane with the Lucas Oil POWRi 600cc Micro Sprint League Presented by Engler Machine & Tool on the final night of the Illinois POWRi Speedweek Sunday at Fayette County Speedway.

Torgerson showed up last minute and dominated the night at Fayette County. He lined up on the pole of the 15-lap main event alongside Cody Key. Torgerson jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.

Aaron Andruskevitch followed closely behind in second while Bradley Fezard and Key traded slide jobs for third.

While Torgerson dominated the feature, it was Andruskevitch who claimed the overall Speedweek honors after two wins and multiple podiums, including a runner-up result Sunday. Key was third, followed by Shain Kaiser and Fezard.
