It’s All Beason In Port City Tilt

TULSA, Okla. — Jonathan Beason would lead every lap of the feature to claim checkers at Port City Raceway in stand-alone competition with the POWRi West Midget League, notching his 13th career league victory.

Early on-track achievements would find Talin Turner showing on-track speed with a 9.425-second lap time to capture hot-lap quick-time as Jonathan Beason and Noah Harris would each earn the heat racing win with Beason gaining the high-point award and pole grid for the feature line-up.

Launching to the initial green would find pole-sitter Jonathan Beason aiming to win the night with outside front-row companion Noah Harris locked in an intense battle for the top spot as Beason would gain the early advantage with Harris, Jeffrey Newell, Turner and Michelle Decker in tow.

Keeping the front of the field, Jonathan Beason would appear to be the driver to beat as Harris and Turner began an intense battle for the runner-up position. Turner snagged the second-running position as he set his sights on the flying front-runner.

Proving to be quickest on the event after a late-race restart, Jonathan Beason would emerge victorious as point-leader Talin Turner would finish runner-up with Noah Harris placing in the final podium position.

“The track is lightning fast and it helps to have a super-fast Esslinger tonight. Starting out front made all the difference tonight with clean air, I’ve been trying to rent this car out and tonight proved it’s still fast,” said Beason.
