MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Below normal temperatures forecasted for Friday have led Williams Grove Speedway officials to cancel the half-mile dirt oval’s April 2 racing program.
Faced with the prospect of the cold, speedway officials realized it was impractical for fans, drivers and teams to brave the cold conditions that are expected.
The Hoseheads.com Easter candy giveaway, slated for April 2 at the main gate, will now take place during the April 9 racing program, beginning at 5:30 when gates open.
The 410 sprints and ULMS super late models are on next week’s Williams Grove program.
