MECHANICSBURG, Pa.- The incoming snowstorm slated to hit the area early Saturday along with the clearly inclement weather forecasted for later Saturday and Sunday has caused Williams Grove Speedway officials to postpone the 2022 season opener slated for Sunday afternoon.
Significant snowfall expected to hit the area on Saturday and an overnight Saturday low temperature forecasted to be in the mid-teens, coupled with Sunday highs expected to be in the mid-30s, along with a biting wind made the decision a necessary and obvious choice.
As a result, the season opener will now take place under the lights next Friday night, March 18 at 7:30 p.m. featuring the 410 sprints and the ULMS Super Late Models.
