IMPERIAL, Calif. — Matt Westfall outlasted J.J. Yeley to win Friday night’s open competition non-winged sprint car feature at Imperial Valley Raceway.
Westfall took the checkered flag in the 20-lap main event .3 seconds ahead of Yeley.
Ricky Lewis finished third, with Charles Davis jr. and Braden Chiaramonte rounding out the top five.
Tyler High won the Eco Tech midget main event.
