Two regions are now open within the National Sprint Car Rankings with Tyler Courtney remaining on top in the East and Sam Hafertepe Jr. leading the way in the West.
With three victories this season, Courtney holds the top spot in the East region with 402 points, while Brad Sweet ranks second, and Anthony Macri, who picked up his first win of the season Sunday at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Speedway, stands third.
A winner Saturday night at Kennedale Speedway Park in Texas, Hafertepe has a 10-point lead over Dominic Scelzi in the Western region, with Ayrton Gennetten third.
The national rankings will open when drivers begin reaching 20 starts.
Ten drivers have won the 12 features run so far this season.
