PORT ROYAL, Pa. — Logan Wagner took the lead with 13 laps remaining and rolled to his first sprint car victory of the season Saturday afternoon at Port Royal Speedway.
Wagner passed Justin Whittall who led from the start of the event on the half-mile track and the Juniata County Fairgrounds.
“Hats off to my Zemco crew. We go from wrecking last week to being here in victory lane this week,” said Wagner. “Thanks to all my fans and all those who boo me. You’re all making noise and that’s what this sport is about.”
Anthony Macri charged from ninth to finish second, with Lucas Wolfe, Whittall and Jeff Halligan rounding out the top five.
Colton Flinner won for the third time in as many late model features this season.
